NH TEDP assists individuals who experience difficulties using regular phones be able to obtain phones that can accommodate their needs. Effective July 1, 2007, Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services will be running the
Telecommunication Equipment Distribution Program (NH-TEDP) (formally known as the Phone Link Program).
NH TEDP offers a cost sharing program where clients pay a portion of 50% of the clost and then own the equipment if they do not qualify for the lending program.
The lending program is a long term loan at no no cost to qualifying applicants based on income eligibility criteria.
Equipment available includes: TTYs, voice activated phones, headsets, loud ringer signalers, emergency alert systems, remote answering phones, and amplification to make a persons voice louder.
